Designing Sustainably, Living Consciously Always

For Lucille Gajovic, sustainability is not a design trend—it is a lifelong commitment and core value. Her passion lies in creating architecture that does more than occupy space; it restores balance, empowers people, and engages the senses. Lucille views every project as an opportunity to embed purpose into the built environment—integrating renewable materials, green technologies, and context-driven planning that speaks to Africa’s diverse landscapes. She is especially drawn to the intersection of sustainability and sensory design, believing that how a space feels is just as vital as how it performs.

Through Elemental Architects, she channels this vision into large-scale developments that serve both people and the planet. Her work is rooted in ethics, inclusivity, and regeneration—designing spaces that actively contribute to community well-being, skills development, and environmental restoration. For Lucille, architecture is a force for healing and transformation, and sustainability is the language through which that healing begins.
